I would also like to thank all of you for helping to make Elizabeth and Michael's wedding so beautiful, so much fun, and such a great day and evening.  You are all special people.  I hope you all get some rest and those of you who had to travel, I thank you  for making the trip.

Whille you were here getting ready for the wedding, did any of you see a little green case full of jewerly?  If you did can you tell me where?  Tim's friend lost it and we have looked everywhere.  If you can help me, thanks.

And thank you all again.  You are all special and good friends to Lizzie.

Just a quick thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make yesterday an amazing day for Michael and me.  We are exhausted and looking forward to the honeymoon.  You all are the best.  Drive carefully and safe trips to all.  Catch you next week!!

Hi All,

Just a note to let you know that poor Elizabeth has a bad bladder infection.  She has been to the ER and is now on drugs but was told to do nothing today but rest.  This, of  course, has her nuts!!   She has "too much to do" and is so worried it won't all get done!   I have tried to reassure her that we will do what we can and that all will be well.   She really just feels lousy and so maybe those of you who read this could send her a message of encouragement?   I know she would like that!    I love you, Lizzie

Temporary setback....

We got up early and we started shopping early and we were on a roll.  Then....it turns out I am getting a urinary track infection and I couldn't be far from a bathroom and it is horribly uncomfortable and ugh.  So we got mom's pretty outfit for the rehearsal and did a couple of other tiny things.  Now I am drinking water like a champ and will be taking medicine when I get home.  It will be better by tomorrow and we will start the crazy shopping again.  But for now....I am on my way home to get ready for Thanksgiving dinner.  I love that I am marrying into a Canadian family because now I get two Thanksgivings!!  Wish you were here Ruddle!!  See you all soon.  xoxo

Put your dukes up flower man

On my way to duke it out with the flower guy.  Not that I think it will become physical....just that he drives me nuts.  He agrees to whatever I say before I say it thereby leaving me with the distinct impression he has no idea what I just asked him to do and will therefore do what he wants.  He is not mean nor vindictive.  But he is hyper and uneducated and annoying.  That being said...he does do beautiful flowers.  Phew.   

Programs and videos and the rehearsal

I worked on the programs instead of going to Plattsburgh because it is so cold and rainy here.  It took me a couple of hours but so far I think I really like them.  I'll show Michael one tonight and see what he thinks.  Mom and dad seem to like what I've done so far so that is good.

Mom and I met with the videographer today for an hour and a half.  I am pretty impressed.  He seems to know exactly what he is doing and was very excited about some of our suggestions and things we want.  You'll all meet him at the rehearsal. 

The rehearsal.....Brooke.....the rehearsal begins at 5:15 pm at the church here in town on Friday the 13th.  Don't be late!!  Everyone else...the rehearsal begins at 6:00.  Ha.  Sorry Brooke, but darlin'.....pretend it starts at 5:15 just for me so you are there on time, OK?!?!  :)  Dinner will be catered at Meron's in Plattsburgh immediately following at about 7:15-7:30ish.  The dress is nothing fancy.  I am going to look for a dress maybe.  I won't be in khaki's but I might be in dress pants.  Who knows?  It is so far away yet....gulp.

I got Jennifer and Emma's dresses back.  Anyone else who lives far away and has to travel can ship them to my mom's house and we'll bring them to be steamed.  No worries about wrinkles and such. 

Carrie......I swear I am leaving my parents right now and going home to call you!!  I've missed a couple of your calls because I was working and such......but I will call you in about an hour. 

I think that is all from this end for now.  How is everyone else doing?

wedding morning

Hey Girls.....the hair place just wanted me to remind you all to wear button down shirts or some variation that won't have to come off over your beautiful hairdo.  And if everyone can be washed and mostly dried that would be great.  We start at 8:00 a.m.  More on how to get everyone there to come....

Albany on a Friday night....

.....we got my dress with no help or thanks to David's Bridal.  They were ridiculous and even after I got in my dress (an hour later than the appointment was for) they did not even once come over to help us figure out the bustle.  But the girls did and it looks great and even if it isn't the right way...it was perfect.  I will NEVER shop at a David's Bridal again. 

That being said....glad the dress still fit.  Ha.  And if it hadn't then I am pretty sure it would have been because the evil do-ers at David's shrunk it.
